A native to San Jose and with more than twenty-five years experience in the field of Architecture and Planning, Sandra A. Paim AIA USGBC-REC Master Green Building Professional, is Principal of the Office of Sandra Paim AIA MGBP in Downtown Los Gatos. Ms. Paim is involved with the design of custom residential, commercial and historic renovation projects. Her particular expertise is in full-service design and project management.
Prior to starting her own practice in 1990, Ms. Paim worked as a project manager and designer for various architectural firms in the Bay Area. In addition, she has worked with the studio of Francesco Gurrieri, ICOMOS Architect and Paolo Riani Architect in Florence, Italy as architectural advisor on projects of varied scope.
Ms. Paim received her Professional five-year degree in Architecture from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California and participated in the International Studies Program in Florence, Italy.
Ms. Paim is licensed in the State of California to practice Architecture, is a professional member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), served on the City of San Jose Historic Landmarks Commission and currently writes a column for the San Jose Mercury Newspaper.
